One Event. Two ticketing modes.

Choose the model that fits the Event. Native and External Ticketing have different authorities and operating depth.

NOCTRA Native Ticketing

Configure and sell tickets through NOCTRA while the organizer remains the ticket seller and uses its connected Stripe account for payment processing.

  • Configure ticket types, prices and saleable inventory for the Event.
  • Publish the Event and send buyers through the NOCTRA checkout flow.
  • Keep confirmed orders and ticket entitlements connected to the Event.
  • Issue QR access passes for supported buyer and transfer flows.
  • Support controlled ticket transfers without creating a separate buyer account requirement.
  • Run supported full-order refund workflows with the relevant invoice or correction records.
  • Scan valid access passes at the Door and carry entry into live operations.
  • Calculate tickets sold, refunded tickets, gross ticket revenue, refund amount and net ticket revenue from authoritative Native Ticketing records.

External Ticketing

Use an external ticketing mode when the selected plan and Event configuration allow it, while the external provider remains authoritative for the sale.

  • Link the public Event to the external provider or Event sales URL.
  • Keep checkout, payment, orders and provider-side buyer service with the external provider.
  • Availability follows the current commercial entitlement; the pricing page remains the source for plan scope.
  • External Ticketing does not automatically synchronize provider orders or attendee data into NOCTRA.
  • Guestlist, Door, Live and reporting remain separate NOCTRA workflows where configured; external ticket scans are not imported into Native Ticketing.
  • Enter external ticket sales and revenue Actuals manually. NOCTRA does not currently receive an authoritative provider integration or import for those values.

Native Ticketing keeps the supported transaction and access-pass flow inside NOCTRA. External Ticketing provides a deliberate outbound sales path, not a provider integration or synchronized sales feed.

Guestlist
Keep complimentary and managed Guestlist access visible alongside the Event context.
Door
Use Door search and scanning for the supported NOCTRA access records.
Live operations
Carry entry and attendance context into the active live operation.
Forecasts and actuals
Use confirmed Native Ticketing results and confirmed NOCTRA Door admissions as calculated Actuals, then retain the Event record for Plan-vs-Actual reporting.

NOCTRA keeps product boundaries visible so teams know which system owns the transaction and which records are operational context.

  • The organizer remains the ticket seller, contractual partner and invoice issuer for NOCTRA Native Ticketing.
  • Stripe and the organizer's connected Stripe account handle supported payment processing; NOCTRA does not store card-entry data.
  • The current workflow supports full-order refunds, not partial refunds; availability still follows the supported order state.
  • An external provider remains responsible for its checkout, buyer records, payments and sales data.
